The village of Glenridding is situated at the southern end of lake Ullswater, popular with tourists of all kinds but especially mountain walkers who can scale England's third highest mountain, Helvellyn.

Our accommodation comprises, six individually styled rooms, four of which have wonderful views of the Lake and fells. All our rooms are en-suite with the usual refinements you would expect.
Cherry Holme guest house is in the village of Glenridding, close to the shores of Lake Ullswater in the Lake District. Renowned for it's stunning scenery, it quite simply is the archetypical Lakeland get away.

Fantastic experience from the moment we arrived. Were welcomed in despite misjudging the journey and being hours early and had a lovely time. Location is fantastic, rooms and communal areas spotless and food/service excellent. Will be stopping in again next time I'm up in the Lakes. Highly recommended.

and that's just for starters! Rooms excellently presented - comfy, clean and finished to a high standard. Beds luxurious, bathroom - shower big enough for two ! Food well cooked and really delicious - good variety offered. Mike and his wife make it their mission to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Don’t waste your time booking into anywhere else in Ullswater (even Inn on the Lake) you wont beat this gem.
